What we cost

Our costs are calculated in four simple slices...

• Delivering a one day event in your area, with best-selling authors, lunch and with every child going home with a City Stories bag of books.

• All materials, books and event planning taken care of. Supportive project staff on hand.

• Big bookmarks, postcards and posters for the event printed and delivered to celebrate the work of the children. A website for the new local book group is included in the project brief.

• We work with parents and carers after the event, at no further cost, to support the creation of a children's book group in the local area - in order to build on the days learning.

Our aim is to make the delivery for the community free at the point of engagement.

We are happy to raise funding for your literacy projects from the local authority, regional funding programmes or central  government. streams.

We will tailor our approach to partners to get the best  value for your literacy event - yet deliver maximum impact against your development agenda.

We are always happy to quote for additional materials, authors or event marketing and support as required.

We can also revise our budgets if you already have your own suitable venue for example.
